Who we are

Freshman101 publishes educational guides and tools for new college students and their families. Freshman101 is operated by Recon11 Global Systems, LLC, doing business as Freshman101, Melbourne, Florida ("Freshman101," "we," or "us").

Questions about these terms can go to freshman101.info@protonmail.com. These terms take effect on November 1, 2026. By using this site or buying a guide, you agree to them.

What you're buying

Campus guides are digital products delivered as a PDF and as online pages. When you buy a guide you get a personal, non-transferable license to read and download it for your own use. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute it.

If you buy a guide as a gift, the license belongs to the student you name at checkout, and the access link is emailed to them. You can still use Find my guide with the email you paid with.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Independent and unofficial

Freshman101 is an independent educational resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any college, university, or the NCAA. School names are used only to identify the campus a guide covers.

Educational content only

Our guides are general educational information. They are not admissions consulting, financial aid advice, legal advice, medical advice, or mental health care. Campus details change. Always confirm deadlines, policies, and costs with your school.

Freshman101 guides, tools, calculators, templates, and linked resources are educational in nature and are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not provide individualized legal, tax, financial, investment, medical, immigration, military recruiting, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional or confirmation from the responsible institution or agency.

We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publication. However, circumstances, laws, rules, school policies, program requirements, benefit amounts, business information, prices, hours, deadlines, platform features, and availability can change at any time. Information may become outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate. Confirm current details directly with the relevant school, business, employer, government agency, program administrator, or service provider before relying on them.

Freshman101 is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any university, employer, social platform, the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or another government agency unless a specific relationship is expressly identified and documented. Use of these materials does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Access links

Your access link is your key to the guide. Keep it private. We may turn off a link that is being shared publicly or abused, and we will replace it for the original buyer.

Age

You must be 13 or older to use this site. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make any purchase.

The fine print

No warranty. The site, guides, and tools are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Freshman101 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, or decisions made based on our content. Our total liability for any claim about the site or a guide is limited to the amount you paid us for the guide involved in the twelve months before the claim, or $25 if you paid nothing.

Your use. You agree not to copy, scrape, resell, or share access to paid content, not to interfere with the site or its security, and not to use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about these terms, the site, or a guide will be brought only in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction over Brevard County, Florida, and you and we consent to those courts. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in effect when you bought a guide applies to that purchase.

The rest. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
